1: In FY2022, Mizuho made political donations amounting to 20 million yen per year. In Japan, it is mandatory for political organizations to release the status of income and spending of political funds. Therefore, the above–mentioned amount is disclosed in official gazettes and prefectural public notices.
2: Excluding the political donations mentioned above, major expenditures that could have an impact on policies came to 505 million yen in FY2022. Major components there in included UNEP FI, the Global Compact Network Japan, the Institute of International Finance, the Japanese Bankers Association, and the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren).
