San Vicente Travel Guide

If you're on your way to or from San Salvador, try to take a short detour into San Vicente to have a look at the town's much-photographed clock tower, damaged by the 2001 earthquake but now restored to its former glory. This laidback, rural town's other big attraction, the Iglesia Pilar cathedral, was also damaged by the quake but has been completely renovated and is also worth a visit.
