Jason Cochran

Editor-in-Chief of Frommers.com, author of Here Lies America, co-host of "The Travel Show" on WABC, two-time Lowell Thomas Award winner for Guide Book of the Year (London, Orlando).

Jason Cochran is Editor-in-Chief of Frommers.com, the international consumer reporting publisher that has been guiding travelers on their vacations since 1957, and he has twice been awarded Guide Book of the Year by the Society of American Travel Writers’ Lowell Thomas Awards. For a half decade, he served as co-host of The Travel Show on WABC in New York City.

Prior to that, he was editor of the Travel section at AOL, an editor-at-large and video host for the consumer reporting website WalletPop.com, a question writer for ABC’s Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, and a reporter for Entertainment Weekly magazine. His commentary and writing have also appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Newsweek, Travel + Leisure, and the New York Post, and his books include Here Lies America, a travelogue about bad history at U.S. historic sites.
