What do you do at Mizuho?
I have been at Mizuho for 16 years and run the Treasury Administration’s operations desk. It consists of Treasury Clearance, processing the Bank’s Triparty transactions, and settlement of various money market instruments.

What surprised you about Mizuho?
Mizuho’s benefits are excellent. While most banks reduce benefits, Mizuho strives to keep costs down and improve overall benefits to its employees.

How have you grown since joining Mizuho?
One of the keys to success is building and molding a great group of people around you. I found it here at Mizuho; we complement each other in our skills and work ethic.

How is Mizuho different from other places you've worked?
At Mizuho we have a client first mentality and that’s what truly sets us apart from other banks.

What’s one thing you've learned while at Mizuho or in the industry?
I have been fortunate in participating in a number of Leadership initiatives that Mizuho has implemented. The leadership programs coupled with management experiences have strengthened my skills to become successful here at Mizuho.

What’s a particularly proud moment you’ve had here?
I am proud of the Bank’s community relations involvement such as March of Dimes and its Community Reinvestment Act initiatives.
